For our Business Unit Transformers we are looking for a Sales Support Specialist whose main responsibilities will be to support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective. solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
How you’ll make an impact
Provide technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations and offer product/ solution/service related training.
Prepare/support preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives. Participate in the kick off meeting organized by the project team.
Define cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Sales organization.
Provide information to the risk review process in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment.
Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Performs lost proposal analysis, identify potential cause, and recommend future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results.
Your background
3-5 years of working experience as Sales in a similar industry in an international environment
Technical background (Engineering degree is preferred)
Previous experience working with electric substation equipment; client-facing experience presenting transformers solutions is considered a plus
Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience in managing complex customers is considered a plus
Good knowledge of the English and Italian, both written and oral
