Job Summary

As the Axle Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and technical delivery of axles and related drivetrain key components, supporting new product introduction (NPI), cost optimization, and quality improvement.

This role requires technical leadership across system requirements, structural design, simulation analysis, validation, and production support, while working closely with system engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and supplier teams.

You will lead the resolution of complex technical issues and drive the application of new technologies, new materials, and best practices on axle platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of axles and related drivetrain components.
  主导车桥及相关传动系统零部件的设计、开发与验证。
• Translate system requirements into design solutions that are manufacturable, verifiable, and ready for mass production.
  将系统需求转化为可制造、可验证、可量产的设计解决方案。
• Be responsible for 3D modeling, structural and fatigue analysis, design reviews, and 2D drawing release.
  负责 3D 建模、结构/疲劳分析、设计评审及 2D 图纸发布。
• Lead or participate in NPI, cost reduction (VA/VE), and quality improvement projects.
  领导或参与 NPI、成本降低（VA/VE）及质量改进项目。
• Drive engineering activities such as DFMEA, DVP&R, design validation, and failure analysis.
  推动 DFMEA、DVP&R、设计验证与失效分析等工程活动。
• Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to support APQP, PPAP, technical reviews, and production launch.
  与采购和供应商协作，支持 APQP、PPAP、技术评审与量产导入。
• Support field issue analysis, failure review, and continuous improvement.
  支持现场问题分析、失效复盘与持续改进。
• Serve as a technical backbone by mentoring junior engineers and capturing best practices.
  作为技术骨干，指导初级工程师并沉淀最佳实践。

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field.
  机械工程、车辆工程或相关专业本科及以上学历。
• Design and development experience in axles or drivetrain systems.
  具备车桥或传动系统相关设计与开发经验。
• Solid foundation in mechanical design, materials, structures, and manufacturing processes.
  扎实的机械设计、材料、结构与制造工艺基础。
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools such as Creo and engineering analysis tools.
  熟练使用 3D CAD（如 Creo）及工程分析工具。
• Familiar with DFMEA, DVP&R, design validation, and problem-solving processes.
  熟悉 DFMEA、DVP&R、设计验证与问题解决流程。
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to drive results in complex projects.
  具备跨职能沟通能力，能在复杂项目中推动结果。
• Able to read and write engineering English.
  具备工程英语读写能力。

Preferred Skills

• Experience in heavy machinery, construction equipment, or automotive drivetrain systems.
  具备重型机械、工程机械或汽车传动系统经验。
• Familiar with the design of gears, shafts, housings, and cast or forged parts.
  熟悉齿轮、轴类、壳体以及铸件/锻件设计。
• Experience in FEA, fatigue life, and failure analysis.
  具备 FEA、疲劳寿命及失效分析经验。
• Participated in global projects or multi-plant collaboration.
  参与过全球化项目或多工厂协作。
• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, and supplier technical management.
  熟悉 APQP、PPAP 及供应商技术管理。
• Demonstrated technical leadership or experience serving as a technical lead for projects.
  具备技术领导力或项目技术负责人经验。

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
