Description:

Per Diem Registered Respiratory Therapist - 8:30am to 5pm - Westchester Medical Group

NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups (NYPMG) Multispecialty Practice is part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools.  Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with ColumbiaDoctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.

Respiratory Therapists' assist in transportation of intubated patients with the special emphasis in maintaining airways and providing adequate ventilation and oxygenation. Assess modalities of respiratory therapy, recommend changes - including improvements appropriate to the delivery of respiratory care. 

This is a per-diem position located at NYP Westchester Medical Group.

May be required to travel to other locations as needed within Westchester Medical Group based on operational needs.

Required Criteria 

• Minimum of AAS Degree from an AMA approved program in Respiratory Care

• Current NYS Respiratory Therapy licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care

• BLS certification

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required
