The incumbent is expected to:

1. Have 8-10 years of relevant experience
2. Have deep expertise with actual hands-on experience of working on pharmaco-economic models (PE models) including budget impact models and cost-effectiveness/ cost-utility models. The incumbent should have worked on both local adaptations of global models and de-novo models. Work done on models should include:
a. Familiarity with literature review for model inputs
b. Development of model flow
c. Ability to develop MS Excel based models also incorporating VBA as required.
d. Experience of QCing (peer or of juniors) excel based models
e. Familiarity with TreeAge Software would be good to have though not essential
f. Conducting sensitivity analysis – both one-way sensitivity analysis (OWSA) and Probabilistic Sensitivity Analysis (PSA)

2. Have experience of independently leading multiple PE modelling projects simultaneously (with minimal guidance from onshore stakeholder) with at least 2 people working under him on each project.

3. In IQVIA, lead projects across geography/BUs independently with minimal support from Onshore stakeholder. Actively interact with the client on the project and support onshore stakeholder in client presentations.

4. Support the business development team on proposals for clients

5. Help in the development/ upgrading of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for PE modelling projects. Ensure their implementation within the team and compliance of team to the SOPs

6. Own QC process for PE modelling projects.

7. Support training and mentoring of junior members for PE modelling team

8. Help in team expansion by recruitment of trained lateral resources and training of targeted campus hires.

9. Previous experience of people management would be good to have.
