ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Staff Accountant for ASM Global Corporate Office, located in West Conshohocken, PA.

Responsible for maintaining and updating accounting recorded and files.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct month end and year end closures

  • Provide analytic support for Accounts Receivable department by reviewing billing and payment activity

  • Perform monthly variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts and research any discrepancies

  • Maintain/Update future billing files in coordination with department heads

  • Review and record cash activities of the organization

  • Respond to information requests, reviewing financial statements and assisting with audits

  • Prepare monthly closing journal entries

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations monthly

  • Produce reports to upper management upon request

  • Maintain open communications with all departments as necessary to maintain

Other duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with the documentation and testing of internal controls

  • Training on financial systems as necessary

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience        

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting

  • Demonstrated professionalism and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently

  • Strong organization and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft products

  • Ability to quickly learn new financial systems and tools

  • Professional demeanor
