As a Manager, Associate Strategic Sourcing, you will work to directly execute the strategic sourcing process for aftermarket parts and other parts commodity categories. You’ll be responsible for developing, managing, and negotiating with Aftermarket Parts Strategic Suppliers.
What you'll do:
Manage and negotiate Strategic Sourcing agreements and relationships in line with the organizations goals and objectives
Responsible for program improvement and acquisition cost reduction, focusing on refining current strategic relationships and developing new Strategic Suppliers in categories previously untouched by the company
Responsible for the identification and realization of cost savings opportunities through spend analysis
Lead cross-functional teams in developing company standards and policies on various purchased items
Negotiate and finalize contracts including master agreements and scopes of work Establish and maintain constructive supplier partnerships
Develop and execute implementation, communication and compliance plans
Measure, manage, and report on realized cost savings, cost saving opportunities, supplier program compliance, service levels and category activity of key suppliers
Participate in the development of policies related to category usage to drive savings
Manage and work with 3rd parties supporting the sourcing and operations of these purchases
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
BA/BS degree; Finance, Management, Operations/Purchasing, Accounting or related experience preferred
2-4 years of Strategic Sourcing or Purchasing experience and C.P.M. certification
Experience in negotiating outsourcing agreements and reverse auction a plus
Financial skills and knowledge of Six-Sigma and process re-engineering preferred
Knowledge of construction equipment and contractor supplies
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong computer (Excel) skills
Ability to work independently
Some travel required
