Job Purpose:

Our Procurement Manager will be responsible for planning, sourcing, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services that support corrugated manufacturing operations. This role ensures continuity of supply, cost discipline, and alignment with operational and financial objectives. The Procurement Manager partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Job Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute procurement strategies that support plant and operational needs while balancing cost, quality, and supply continuity.
● Manage supplier relationships, including selection, negotiations, performance reviews, and issue resolution to ensure reliable service and compliance with expectations.
● Lead sourcing and contracting activities for raw materials, indirect materials, and services in support of manufacturing, maintenance, and operational functions.
● Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Finance to align purchasing decisions with production schedules, inventory targets, and budget requirements.
● Monitor supplier performance, market conditions, and supply risks, and proactively address potential disruptions or cost impacts.
● Analyze spend data and purchasing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
● Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, ethical sourcing standards, and safety and environmental requirements.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Communicate clearly and effectively with suppliers, plant leadership, and cross-functional teams.
● Analyze data, identify trends, and make sound business decisions.
● Build strong working relationships and influence outcomes without direct authority.
● Apply sound judgment when negotiating contracts, resolving supplier issues, and managing risk.
● Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost control, sourcing, and supplier performance.

Work Experience:

● 5-10 years of related job experience.

● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred
