RBC Capital Markets has successfully expanded in Europe over the last years and is continuously growing its investment banking operations in Frankfurt.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the constantly growing German country coverage team of a Top 10 Global Investment Bank as a Senior Analyst. In this role you will be able to get experience across sectors and different investment products with a strong focus on M&A. RBC works on high profile transactions primarily for large cap corporates and financial sponsors.

What will you do?

  • Perform and review financial valuation, discounted cash flow and comparable companies multiples-based valuation analyses

  • Build and use financial models

  • Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, such as confidential information memorandums

  • Analyse detailed corporate and financial information

  • Participate in the execution of M&A transactions, including active participation in due diligence efforts

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA, MA or MS or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative/analytical area of study, with demonstrated record of high achievement.

  • Previous advisory experience (Investment Banking / Private Equity / Financial Services Firms), including internships

  • First transaction experience and an understanding of the valuation approaches typically used in the industry

  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance, particularly with respect to accounting and corporate finance.

  • Experience with discounted cash flow, LBO, and/or Merger modeling are considered a plus.

  • Highly motivated, committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests.

  • Fluency in German and English
