Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Strategy and Growth Operations and Integration Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Strategy and Growth (S&G) organization. This leadership role will be located in Falls Church, VA or Melbourne, FL.

The Manager of Operations and Integration provides operational support and project management to integrate strategy and business development functions within the S&G operating model. The position reports to the Chief of Staff of S&G. This role is an opportunity to collaborate and further growth in a performance environment, working within a diverse team across many functions, to develop and execute the “front end” of the Aeronautics Systems sector. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Manages Consultant Process and budget
  • Interface to consultants as NGC POC: Primary interface to manage, approve, and maintain consultant’s access to NGC processes and resources such as security clearance management, access to NGC network, etc. Accessible to consultants as the primary interface to answer questions and provide guidance
  • Manages geographically distributed administrative professional staff
  • Coordinates completion of executive bi-weekly notes
  • Sector Operations Lead for Honest Leadership and Open Government Act (HLOGA) training and certification
  • Drives project management discipline and rigor across all aspects of the S&G business; Serves as a utility resource to S&G initiatives and projects

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of related professional experience as defined below; or a Master's degree and 7 years of related professional experience as defined below; or a PhD and 5 years of related professional experience as defined below
  • Related experience includes experience in program / enterprise integration, business development, or similar
  • 3 years leadership experience
  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance with current TS/SCI and/or SAP
  • Experience with International Business
  • Experience with or understanding of military protocols
  • Experience within the Northrop Grumman ecosystem
  • Ability to handle and implement several competing priorities for the betterment of the business
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and graphic presentation development skills
  • Proven ability to interact skillfully and diplomatically with colleagues and stakeholders

Salary Range: $119,300.00 - $207,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
