Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to complete key tactical activities in support the successful delivery of information security tools and processes. This includes contributing to efforts across the various information security domains, with a focus on supporting well-defined and stable processes and procedures. The Associate, Information Security will grow their understanding across the various tools and processes supported by the team and start to make key connections between information security and other parts of Technology. This role will receive regular guidance and direction from more senior level associates on the team.

What You Will Do

• Conduct basic data analysis and reporting
• Help assess adherence to the information security processes supported
• Answer questions from associates about the information security processes supported
• Document current-state business processes and opportunities for automation
• Attempt to resolve problems, then escalates problems as necessary to appropriate resources (e.g., support team, vendor)
• Contribute to process documentation repositories
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
• Help with the collection of information security metrics
• Maintain an awareness of information security news and trends
• Help collect security related information and data and prepare it for sharing with stakeholders via the ISG change enablement and communications strategy
• Participate in regular security vulnerability assessments
• Assist during integration and user acceptance testing activities
• Assist as needed during information security incidents

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED  or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• completion of relevant coursework or program focused on information security or related skills

Preferred Skills/Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, business administration, cybersecurity or related field
• 1 year of experience in information security
