The Opportunity

This position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

Reporting into the Director of Pricing and Profitability, the Margin and Profitability Pricing Manager is responsible for the delivery of our corporate margin objectives within commercial pricing, while developing and implementing a best in class end to end process in place to support this.

What You’ll Work On

  • The primary function of the Margin and Profitability Pricing Manager position is to manage key Margin & Profitability (M&P) objectives.  This individual will identify and drive key process improvements and strategic pricing changes to deliver these goals.
  • Provide short term and long-term opportunities and plans to improve our margin profile, while ensuring optimum sales performance.
  • Deliver on improvement plans and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain tools that support both the wider pricing organization and the Gross margin and profitability function.
  • Support and drive customer pricing strategies
  • Analyse data to identify margin and growth opportunities.
  • Lead key performance report outs with senior US commercial and financial executives
  • Establish and evaluate key metrics; drive results through innovative value creation and initiatives for continuous, measurable improvements.
  • Provide valuation models for material decisions to Abbott.
  • Develop a robust and lean live reporting structure.
  • Support any key strategic initiatives and activities being driven by CRM organization to improve margin and productivity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Strong Analytical experience and skill set
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in Power BI
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years medical devices experience
  • 3+ years Pricing or price analytics experience
  • Further education in analytics / data management

The base pay for this position is

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
