About the Role

Manage, plan, deliver and monitor the results on leadership & talent development to support AIA’s Operational People Review. In addition, Learning & Development, Specialist will be involved in conducting talent assessments.

Support Senior Manager, Leadership & Talent Development to identify development needs and find the execution of grooming future talent pipeline, design and implement the development programmes to support critical development needs of high potentials and talent group to enable it to fully utilize the potential of its people and meet future and challenging business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, support, and implement corporate strategic development programmes to build critical capabilities and leadership for People Manager
  • Assist in validating the quality of Talent & Successor Nomination List, Career Profiles, and Development Action Plan
  • Evaluate training effectiveness of the leadership development programs conducted and identify areas for improvement to ensure maximum effectiveness in meeting program objectives or arising business needs
  • Design, develop and/or roll out development solutions to support critical needs of high potentials, talent group and specific functional requirements to support business needs as per assignment
  • Update data correctly in related HR systems (Talent & Succession Planning module), develop report, and analyse data to gain insights to formulate findings and recommendations for management’s decision making or implement new initiatives
  • Coordinate, meet and liaise with functional/ department managers to support on talent identification, assessment, and development as well as obtain their feedback for improvement
  • Handle and engage in special projects and/or assignment such as HR projects, L&D projects and reginal projects to ensure they are implemented and carried out successfully as planned or expected
