As the South Fleet Sales Director, you will lead the strategic growth for our Gas Services business across three key North America accounts by managing key customer relationships and driving sales strategies. You'll be accountable for achieving commitments, orders, margin, convertibility, and cash flow targets while contributing to long-term business strategy and fostering team excellence. This role will provide you with an opportunity to grow your strategic, commercial, operational and people leadership skill sets.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to inform sales strategies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver on targets.
- Attract, develop, coach and retain talent.
- Champion the Vernova Way as the cultural north star within the sales organization.
Portfolio and Deal Leadership
- Own and deliver on operational plans including commitments, orders, convertibility, cash, price expansion and contribution margin while managing GEV risk exposure.
- Lead portfolio, account and market reviews to analyze installed base, ensure visibility to outage opportunities and commercial participation to identify areas of emerging opportunities, resource adequacy and competitive pressures.
- Provide deal team leadership from strategy development through the evaluation, formulation, and delivery of winning proposals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate long-term relationships with customers focused on mutual success and long-term impact.
- Understand customers’ markets and business models, organization, decision making process and drivers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution in close partnership with OTR peers
Sales Process Optimization:
- Utilize Lean tools and resources, lead continuous improvement efforts and support team in driving out waste.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to ensure quality and on time delivery of commercial offerings and deliverables.
One Team Collaboration:
- Lead account team activities, rally around & be accountable for customer satisfaction, issue resolution and responsiveness
- Leverage customer network & customer knowledge to assist other GEV businesses with access, opportunity identification, strategy development and deal development.
- Provide forecasts to fulfillment teams to ensure preparedness for market demand (SIOP process).
- Continuously map customer Outages, KPI´s, priorities and update respective internal systems to ensure alignment and information flows across the business.
- Provide feedback to Product and Business Lines regarding product improvement needs in the region including but not limited to new product development, product enhancements, increased service capabilities, resource adequacy and or commercial innovation.
- Provide market feedback and collaborate with the Business Intelligence organization to enhance GEV market intelligence including competitive environment, win / loss insights and barriers / enablers to growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Power Generation industry with technical knowledge of power plant equipment - gas turbine, steam turbine, or generator.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial, marketing, or operational experience, preferably in the gas business
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing/leading experienced Industry professionals.

- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, or more as required.

- Someone with experience in lean principles, standard work approach, Sales & opportunity management tools and previous Profit & Loss (P&L) experience, capable of short and long-term business planning.
- A leader who has demonstrated experience working as one team, working cross functionally and beyond the scope of their direct responsibilities to deliver customer outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and or eliminate waste.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $151,400.00 and $252,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
