Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients in various industries to create a robust sales pipeline. Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, and networking, to generate leads.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Sales Negotiations: Skillfully negotiate terms and pricing with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Be adept at handling objections and finding win-win solutions.

  • Closing Sales Deals: Demonstrate a strong ability to close sales deals, ensuring the attainment of individual and team sales targets. Work collaboratively with customers to finalize contracts and secure long-term commitments.

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including client information, sales activities, and progress towards targets. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

  • Collaboration with Operations Team: Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely service delivery. Coordinate with logistics personnel to meet customer demands and expectations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about changes in the trucking industry, including regulations, technologies, and market dynamics. Continuously improve sales techniques and strategies to enhance overall sales performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in trucking sales or a related industry.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Familiarity with van and flatbed truckload freight services

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location and Travel Requirements: This position is based in Nashville, TN and is an in-office job. Travel will be discussed more in-depth during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer competitive compensation, including a base salary and incentive compensation. Additionally, we provide health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.

Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
