Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for business development initiatives for our Vision Care products & services  

  • Work towards monthly, quarterly targets and KPI set forth

  • Conducting product presentations to prospective customers when necessary

  • Maintain, develop and build long-term relationships with new and existing customer for company’s growth sustainability

  • Gathering of customer and market information in a timely manner to stay competitive

  • Represent the company in trade shows, events and exhibitions

  • Responsible for the coordination with team, distributor and customer, including preparation of tenders, quotations and order process forms 

  • Assist in Marketing activities (i.e.: exhibitions logistics coordination, event planning and management of brochures, posters and invitations) 

  • Support the team in sales coordination and administration responsibilities 

  • Support the team with business data and potential market update 

Education / Professional Certification

  • Diploma and/or Degree in Business, Marketing or Optometry

Experience

  • 5 years experience in product marketing / sales and proven prior working experience

  • 2 years related work experience, preferably in the optical industry

  • Customer-oriented attitude; deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion, excellent listening, and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows

  • Fluent English, local language and additional languages are an advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
