Position Overview
 

Autodesk, a global leader in software products and services for architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, automotive, and entertainment industries, is expanding its Enterprise Customer Success operations in India. We are seeking a skilled Principal Business Consultant to join our team.

This role requires industry experience, particularly working with or providing consulting services to engineering service providers, construction companies, or infrastructure owners. As a Business Consultant, you will collaborate with clients to shape their digital strategies, assess current processes, define criteria for success, and deliver solutions that drive significant business outcomes.
 

Responsibilities

  • Business strategy
  • Technology solution definition
  • Technology implementation and change management
  • Commercial proposal development
  • Building and maintaining high-value client relationships through solving business challenges
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and challenges
  • Counsel clients on strategic transformation and innovation initiatives
  • Analyze client needs and industry trends to develop innovative solutions
  • Use solution-selling techniques to articulate the value proposition of Autodesk solutions
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, leveraging Autodesk technologies for increased efficiency and growth
  • Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between customer IT and business stakeholders
  • Oversee solution development and implementation teams
  • Represent Autodesk at conferences, and contribute to whitepapers and blogs
  • Stay informed on technology trends impacting customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams for continuous improvement of reference architectures and solutions
  • Demonstrate proficiency in strategic thinking, planning, communications, and results-oriented leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience in relevant industries
  • At least 5 years of experience working on business improvement initiatives through digital solutions in India
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
