Job Description:

Responsibilities: 

• Be a part of the development planning and building.

• Responsible for implementing part or all the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.

• Implement corrections in technical applications to optimize performance.

• Configuring continuous integration and deployment for the project involved.

• Provides technology consulting to external customers and internal teams.

• Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.

• Implement and verify changes/solutions of low to medium complexity/risk to meet customer and/or trade/IT infrastructure needs.

• Pro-actively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring in team/technology area.

• Performs independent investigation, diagnosis and resolution of incidents involving single or multiple technologies.

• Understands a core spectrum of company technology to provide adequate solutions which meet customer requirements.

Education and Experience Required: 

• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science or related area of study or equivalent professional experience in the IT field.

• 1+ years of professional experience in DevOps and system administration;

• He/she should have sufficient technical knowledge to troubleshoot, maintain and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies.

• Operating Systems: i.e., Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES) or Windows

• Build management tools: i.e., Jenkins

• Automation tools: i.e., Ansible, Chef, Puppet

• Micro Services: i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

• Source Control: i.e., Git, Bitbucket

• Virtualization: i.e., VMWare, Xen

• Cloud skills

• Scripting

• Networking
