Summary of Position:
 

IT Infrastructure/Systems Architecture work involves developing the core technical platform, capabilities, and services that support business processes and data including: •Mapping the relationships between IT platform/infrastructure components (i.e., Technology End Users, IT Systems Software & Hardware, and Info-Communications Transmission Networks) •Identifying the key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms impacting the organization’s ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance targets •Evaluating total cost of ownership and return on investment of various IT platform/infrastructure alternatives.

The Enterprise Architect is pivotal in shaping our technology strategy and ensuring its alignment with the company’s business goals. This role is directly involved in the decision-making process, providing strategic recommendations that influence business outcomes. The primary responsibility is to guide the development of future-state business capabilities that support strategic initiatives and foster organizational growth.

In this role, the Enterprise Architect will work closely with business and IT leaders to evaluate and integrate new technologies, enhancing operational efficiency and revenue potential. The individual will serve as a mentor to functional architects, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Additionally, this position requires a hands-on approach in leading by example, actively contributing to the architecture community, and ensuring that enterprise architecture strategies are well-integrated with the overarching company objectives.

The successful candidate will be an expert at navigating complex business environments, transforming challenges into strategic opportunities, and articulating technology solutions that align with and propel the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Architecture Development:

  • Design and continually refine the Enterprise Architecture Master Plan, aligning it closely with the company’s strategic business objectives and technological advancements.
  • Develop comprehensive roadmaps that guide the integration of new technology solutions, ensuring they meet future business needs.

Leadership in Solution Architecture:

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust solution architectures that support critical business functions across the organization.
  • Ensure all architectural designs adhere to industry best practices and maintain the highest levels of security and compliance standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Guidance:

  • Act as a senior advisor to the IT architecture community, offering strategic guidance on complex projects and initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between project teams, technology partners, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive and scalable solutions.

Innovation and Technology Integration:

  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the architecture practice.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies that could enhance operational effectiveness and provide competitive advantage.

Security and Compliance Oversight:

  • Monitor the evolving landscape of IT security threats and compliance requirements.
  • Update architectural frameworks and designs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Mentorship and Team Development:

  • Mentor and support the development of functional architects and other IT team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team to keep skills relevant in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Data and AI Architectural Strategy:

  • Establish a robust architectural framework for data management that supports both transactional and analytical data systems across the organization.
  • Architect AI-driven strategies and oversee their integration into business processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to ensure the architectural coherence of AI models and data workflows, optimizing for scalability and security.

Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) Architecture:

  • Embed security architectural principles throughout the software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Develop architectural policies for secure coding, testing, and deployment practices that mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years in information technology architecture or design. 
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience and/or leading Architecture teams in an Agile development environment
  • TOGAF expertise

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
