Marketing Manager – Group Content (Social) - 15 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role 

  • You’re a hands-on content and social marketing expert who creates, produces and executes high-quality, platform-native content.  

  • You’re fluent in Meta, TikTok, YouTube and emerging social platforms, with a strong focus on short-form video and audio.  

  • You use AI-assisted tools to scale production and optimise performance.  

  • You’re driven to create content that delivers real value for customers and performs.  

  • You collaborate effectively to deliver work at pace and to a high standard 

Do work that matters 

As part of the Group Content team, you’ll execute our content strategy across owned channels and the Brighter ecosystem, with a focus on social-first, insight-led content that drives engagement and action. 
This is a hands-on role, requiring you to concept, produce and deliver content end-to-end. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Create, shoot, edit and publish content across social and video platforms  

  • Deliver on-brand, channel-first content with a focus on short-form video and always-on social  

  • Use AI tools and performance insights to optimise content  

  • Identify opportunities for content amplification, trends and creator collaboration  

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop clear, compelling storytelling that cuts through  

  • Work with in-house teams to plan and execute content quickly and efficiently  

  • Manage and optimise social content calendars  

  • Analyse performance and continuously improve content output  

  • Stay across platform trends, algorithm changes and cultural moments  

  • Support reactive and out-of-hours communications, including travel for a range of marketing campaigns and crisis response  

We’re looking for 

  • Proven ability to produce and execute content end-to-end (including shooting and editing) across social and other content channels 

  • Strong social-first mindset, especially in short-form video  

  • Experience using AI and content tools to enhance output and efficiency  

  • Excellent storytelling, writing and editing skills  

  • Ability to move quickly, manage volume, and deliver high-quality work  

  • Adaptability and comfortable working with ambiguity 

  • Confident stakeholder management and collaboration skills  

  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments  

  • Deep understanding of social platforms, trends and content performance
