For our ITO & Cloud North and Central Europe organization we are searching for a NonStop architect in Finland alternatively within Nordic countries or EU/EES.
You will be part of our ITO/Cloud organization. DXC IT Outsourcing services provides customers with reliable, optimized, and secure mission-critical systems at lower cost. We manage and simplify existing infrastructure investments and provide a way forward to modernize IT, including moving portions to the cloud. On the other hand, DXC Cloud services help customers get the business outcomes they expect. When cloud is done right, it can provide up to three times the return on investment and faster business results, with less cost, risk, and disruption. DXC helps customers make the right decisions about what applications to migrate to cloud and when. With DXC Cloud services, our customers maximize their use of data and ensure their environment remains secure.
As NonStop Support Engineer you will collaborate with one of our largest banking customers. You will be involved on requirements gathering, designing, development, testing, maintenance, version upgrades, conversions, and migrations
We expect you to take ownership of your role, providing your expertise on processes improvement and best practices implementation, sharing your knowledge and ideas with the rest of the team.
You will be the face of DXC in front of our customer, and we trust that you will perform a great job understanding the customer needs to deliver robust, clean, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Supports business critical applications in complex environments, working mostly with financial customers.
Manage, update, optimize and document solutions based on HPE Nonstop in collaboration with delivery, development and application teams.
Provides advice on technical solutions and project estimation.
Participate in Level 3 support activities including on call rotation.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related area of study.
6+ years of experience on HPE Nonstop Systems (Tandem Systems)
