As Sr. Solutions Architect II, you’ll lead the development of critical Oracle technologies including Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and new AI/ML capabilities to support a Marine Corps logistics customer. You will lead all systems engineering and DevSecOps implementations to better enable rapid fielding of new capabilities across the logistics domain.

What you’ll do:

  • Manages the structural design and development of new software systems or extensive software revisions for external customers.
  • Implements policies and procedures to develop efficient and scalable software architecture.
  • Designs and implements software solutions to consider business and technical needs and ensures compatibility with existing systems.
  • Design and implement Oracle EBS and OCI architectures to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform scripts and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for cloud automation.
  • Manage and optimize Oracle EBS performance, ensuring seamless integration with custom Oracle objects.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Oracle applications, automating deployments and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle infrastructure issues, ensuring system reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with database administrators, DevOps, and security teams to enhance system resilience and automation.
  • Stay current with Oracle Cloud updates, new features, and best practices to improve solution architecture.
  • Document Oracle architectures, automation processes, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years as a Solution Architect, with a significant portion dedicated to government projects or clients.
  • Experience designing and architecting a wide variety of solutions to include platform, cloud, system, etc. for large-scale projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of government technology standards, regulations, and security requirements.
  • Extensive experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and migrating Oracle applications to cloud environments.
  • Experience with OCI networking, compute, storage, and identity management services.
  • Proven experience implementing IaC solutions using Terraform and/or Ansible
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Oracle Developer Cloud Service.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing Oracle EBS and database performance issues.
  • Strong expertise in solution design, system integration, and architecture patterns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
