Purpose of this position / Position summary                                                                    

Purpose of this position is to implement new product and machinery and to optimize the current processes by bring stability in the process ensuring SPC and quality also collaboration with the global and with local cross functional team to ensure standard process.

Primary duties and responsibilities

 

Responsibilities

• Train the Technician based on SWI - New SWI.

• Update the SWI if any changes in process - New process.

• Initiate actions for diamond 5.

• Update the FPY Road map (Departmentwise)-to Meet Hoshin Target.

• Enter the previous day production and KPI detail in Tier 3 meeting sheet.

• Discussion with GPE , if any support required to achieve KPI.

• Providing training to supervisors and production enegineers.

• Prepare / update  process Check list and One Point lessons.

• Prepare project plan for new process and product validation.

• Prepare the protocol with Quality support.

• Prepare test matrix for OR (Operational Readiness).

• Train operator for new process / product.

• Update PCP,FMEA,PFD and SWI.

• Product & Process Pre testing .

• Product /process Pilot test (Check and meet KPI).

• Prepare / Update OR report .

• Release the Process / Product to line.

• Reduce RPN in each station FMEA by 20%.

• Define and update the consumable consumption.

• Ensure / Procure required to use instrument, Tools, Equipments.

To guide, motivate, assess, control and develop subordinates.Timely completing the project and stability in process KPP will track by process Manager.

Process manager and global production engineering will give a direction

    Production and quality is a local customer to work collaboratively.

 

Key interfaces/liaison/functional guidance within ZEISS group 

    Head of vision care business will give guidance whenever necessary.

Education requirements / Experience / Job Specifications

Education / Professional Certification

Degree in engineering and 2-3 yr of experience in process engineering and knowledge about process monitoring.

 

Experience

    2-3 year of experience / experienced in optical industry/process engineering knowledge is must needed for this role.

 

Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics

Project management, Problem solving,Powerpoint presentation skills and flexibility in the role.
