Overview 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive to join our busy brand and campaigns team, supporting our talent recruitment strategy with a wide range of marketing activities.   

The successful candidate will ideally have at least two years’ experience in a similar role, be enthusiastic and passionate about recruitment marketing and excited to develop their skills in a challenging and highly rewarding environmentThey will work under the leadership of the marketing campaigns team but will also work alongside the recruitment and education teams in driving brand awareness to attract candidates and leads for our growing business so peer and senior stakeholder management will need to be a key skill. 

Main purpose & goals 

The main purpose of the role is to activate lead generation campaigns and activity to support our recruitment pipeline. As the group continues to grow, the Marketing Executive will be key in supporting our business objectives by attracting new talent into the business. This includes clinical and non-clinical vacancies as well as recruiting newly qualified candidates for our graduate development, internship programmes and nursing programmes. 

The position will be based remotely with occasional travel to our central support office in Solihull.  

Key responsibilities 

  • Lead the recruitment marketing plan for the business covering online and offline channels, from planning through to delivery and measurement. 

  • Plan and implement national, regional and local brand awareness and lead generation campaigns to support talent acquisition across both our primary care and referral practices. 

  • Analyse data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns and make data driven decisions. Report on the ROI, demonstrating their impact on talent attraction and retention. 

  • Support the talent acquisition team with content creation in both written and video format, ensuring content is compelling, relevant and on-brand. 

  • Act as main point of contact for Linnaeus recruitment lead generation recruitment activity, coordinating all activity - end to end ensuring assets are supporting Linnaeus brand and purpose. 

  • Deliver creative content for recruitment marketing and prepare clear briefs for our in-house design resource and external agencies. 

  • Develop inspiring content that showcases out unique opportunities and employer brand. 

  • Create and deliver marketing plans, end to end, to support the education and nursing teams with our early career programmes including the Graduate Development Programme, Rotating Internship Programmes and Nursing Post-Registration Programme. 

  • Develop and evolve the Linnaeus employer brand and act as brand champion, with support from the Senior Brand Manager. 

  • Assist with keeping the Linnaeus careers pages up to date with the latest content and campaigns. 

  • Work closely with the recruitment team in sourcing new ideas and channels for attracting talent via a range of digital media channels. 

  • Stay up to date on advertising tactics, social media tools, digital marketing and recruitment marketing products and platforms. Work closely with the brand team to deploy the recruitment asset toolkit on the brand portal 

  • Ensure the Linnaeus and practice careers pages are up to date and coordinate landing page creation for lead gen and brand campaigns. 

  • Carry out regular competitor analysis to ensure our career opportunities are competitive and key  

  • messages offer candidates an attractive proposition. 

  • Build strong relationships with trade publications i.e. Vet Times. 

  • Support the coordination of recruitment events and exhibitions and attend when required.  

  • Connect with other Mars business units to collaborate on learnings and best practice on employer branding and talent acquisition. 

 

Experience

  • Recruitment marketing campaigns 

  • Working within a fast-paced, multi-site environment  

  • Writing compelling creative briefs and managing campaigns, from conception through to delivery 

 

Knowledge:

  • Digital marketing channels and best practice 

  • Social media channels and campaign deployment  

  • Employer brand best practices 

Qualifications

Marketing related degree or equivalent qualification 

 

Skills and abilities:

  • Interpret digital performance data and ability to make decisions based on performance 

  • Highly organised and ability to manage several projects simultaneously 

  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to write content in-line with brand guidelines 

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including senior management

  • Willing to learn and work within a team as well as on own initiative  

  • Professional, can-do attitude

Salary Value: From £31,000 per annum:
