The Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of Boston Dynamics’ email, paid search, paid social, and webinar marketing programs. This role will be responsible for generating leads, pipeline, and revenue for a Boston Dynamics product line through multiple marketing channels. Email is one of our most critical audience growth and engagement platforms, and you will use your understanding of email marketing best practices and cutting-edge industry innovations to propose and drive initiatives to continually enhance its effectiveness (e.g., content, interactivity, automation). You will conceive of and implement fresh ways to attract new prospects and ensure they are increasingly engaged and converting. Through partnerships with publishers, syndication partners, social media colleagues, and third parties, you will drive significant increases in email readership and lead generation.
As our Marketing Campaign Manager, you'll own the strategic approach to hitting and exceeding marketing goals while managing the campaign budget.You’ll be responsible for strategy and execution of paid search and paid social strategies as well as create and manage an email testing program, working with content, designers, operations, and others on the team to improve engagement (e.g., opens, clicks, conversion, and long-term returns). You will own the overall responsibility for planning and executing our email, 3rd party, and content syndication strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to influence how our automation programs, data, creative, reporting, insights and approach come together. This is a great opportunity for an experienced email marketing professional to take ownership of a rapidly expanding program within the Boston Dynamics Demand Generation team and remain deeply involved in our lead optimization processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own the overall strategic approach for your product line that supports exceeding marketing lead, pipeline, and revenue goals.
Responsible for developing and deploying paid search/social, email, and 3rd party campaigns, including crafting strategy, creating / managing content, aligning internal teams, developing audience segments, designing hero images, creating templates, designing and testing landing pages, building forms, creating campaign sync workflows, and managing URL/UTM tracking.
Support the team with virtual events, trade shows, blog emails, newsletters, social media, and measuring results.
Apply an experimentation mindset to marketing campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimize. Continuously conduct A/B testing across owned channels.
Work with marketers across our team and in our company to ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of campaigns.
Align with Inside Sales to monitor results of top-of-funnel campaigns, gain anecdotal feedback, and generate ideas for optimizing campaigns.
Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing desired
Equal strengths in technical (marketing automation program structure) and creative skills (email copy development, content topics, etc.)
Experience with email marketing, specifically working within a marketing automation platform such as HubSpot
Experience with strategy development and execution of paid search and paid social campaigns
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively about marketing strategy, campaign analytics, ROI, and more
Strong understanding and experience with inbound marketing
Creative copywriting and campaign concepts
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
