Ferrovial Construcción S.A. is recruiting for an in-house lawyer for the legal department to provide legal advice and guidance on the day-to-day legal matters of the Company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Position-Specific Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, prepare the relevant risk matrix allocation, legal queries, and claims for private construction and industrial projects.
• Prepare contract management tools, templates and notices and provide advice to ensure contractual compliance.
• Draft & negotiate international contracts and subcontracts: design and construction, EPC, FIDIC, contracts for data centre, batteries and gigafactories, procurement, supply, leasing, joint venture, consultancy agreements, etc.
• Advise joint ventures.
• File & control the companies’ claims, court & arbitration procedures.
• Build relationship & coordinate with the Companies’ external lawyers.
• Other duties as directed.

Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Law.
• Additional related qualifications will be valued.
• 6+ years’ experience in a construction company or construction/projects group of a law firm.
• Experience in data centers will be valued
• Licensing: Registered at any Colegio de Abogados of Spain.
• Fluent in written and oral English.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
