Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Credit Specialties team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.


This will be an exceptional opportunity to collaborate and work alongside a highly motivated, well established and professional Client Service team based in Singapore. You will join as a professional individual contributor and be part of Marsh’s Credit Specialties team in Singapore taking a key role in servicing and growth of existing client accounts. We will count on you to:

  • Manage a portfolio of Trade Credit Clients and be responsible for key deliverables and revenue.
  • Proactively identify and develop new Trade Credit prospects / opportunities, either independently, or with support from team heads and assume an annual new business target associated with this.
  • Maintain active partnerships with insurers and clients including executive level in identifying risks and opportunities, provide recommendations and decision support for business strategy and performance
  • Manage insurance submission and placement; work independently or with internal specialists to deliver products and services to the Clients
  • Manage Claims and consulting
  • Ensure operational excellence, reporting and compliance.

What you need to have:

  • Ideally but not limited to a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Banking.
  • Trade Credit knowledge with 2-3 years of related work experience e.g., in credit or accounts receivables function will be a plus
  • Broad technical knowledge across commodity finance, trade finance etc., will be another plus.
  • Pro-active and able to work independently.
  • Good presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Problem solving mindset
  • A self-starter with a proactive and energetic approach
