About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as Registered Midwife in our maternity department. You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with a great team to support quality patient care.

Things that work for us:

  • Ability to work on a Permanent Full Time, Part Time or Casual basis

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife (dual registrations as Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse highly regarded)

  • Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements

  • Current clinical knowledge and critical thinking ability
