Position Summary

Provide the key same-day staffing and scheduling support to effectively operate the Customer Care contact centers and meet service level goals. Utilize analysis skills and workforce management software to track and forecast same-day workload as well as maintain employee schedules. Support escalated operations by coordinating contact center staffing and communications

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the number of resources available on an intra-day basis according to expected or actual workload to ensure both departmental and regulatory goals are met. Respond quickly to unexpected events and coordinate appropriate resources. Provide timely and meaningful performance updates to contact center partners as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate employee schedules by processing various schedule requests (PTO, shift swaps, absences, etc) within deadlines. Maintain process and policy documentation, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in scheduling processes and policies. Act as a key resource for contact center partners with questions about scheduling processes, and facilitate basic education regarding operational management.
  • Identify trends and quickly and efficiently gather and analyze current and historical data to make decisions or recommendations to most effectively impact contact center operations. Participate in ad hoc special projects as assigned.
  • Prepare for potential escalated operations and manage contact center activities during active escalated operations.


Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma, prefer a BS or BA degree with a strong preference for emphasis in mathematics or business related fields (two years of experience may be substituted for each year of college).
  • Ability to effectively communicate, strong ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Access, Excel and PowerPoint) for the purpose of calculation of data and presentation of results.
  • A team player with the ability to react and quickly change tasks in a constantly changing environment.
  • One year scheduling experience in a contact center environment, with specific focus on the use of workforce management software (i.e., Aspect, IEX, Verint WFM).
  • Available for on-call outside of normal business hours due to storms and unexpected, prolonged spikes in call volume.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $24.00 to $33.33 per hour
