Role Overview

The Business Development Representative at Amper plays a pivotal role in our outbound efforts, specializing in booking qualified meetings. This position requires a blend of organization, account ownership, and curiosity. As a proactive team member, you'll engage in targeted outreach to drive conversations and qualified meetings. This role demands a fast learner with strong organizational skills, and a background in manufacturing is highly preferred.

Location: Remote (with options to work from office in Chicago)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Researching, developing, and mapping target accounts

  2. Execute outbound initiatives to book qualified meetings, leveraging industry/persona knowledge and communication skills.

  3. Collaborate with the business development/sales/marketing team to manage pipeline.

  4. Ensure deal hygiene and effective deal management throughout the process.

Qualifications:

  1. Background in the manufacturing industry is preferred, providing insights and understanding for targeted outreach.

  2. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to initiate and maintain meaningful conversations.

  3. Innate curiosity driving high-quality outreach and engagements.

  4. Strong organizational skills are a must, ensuring efficient and effective outreach processes.

  5. Quick learner capable of adapting to evolving strategies and industry dynamics.

  6. Proven expertise in outbound business development, demonstrating a solid understanding of effective strategies.
