Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with plasma process domain experts to develop and implement plasma process optimization methods and workflow.
• Leverage fundamental plasma process knowledge, equipment and diagnostic sensor technologies in building machine learning pipelines.
• Improve model interpretability using technologies like causal inference.
• Address challenges in building high-accuracy and high-fidelity plasma process prediction and control models.
• Present project status to stakeholders and key leaders.
• Communicate with team members and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Control System, Plasma Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of applied machine learning. Ideal candidate has experience applying causal inference and implementing physics informed neural networks (PINN).
• Experience with MATLAB, Python or C++
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.
