Didactic Material

Didactic materials will be delivered via computerized learning and lecture style format.

Simulations

Simulated rotations imitate the real-world processes and systems described during the didactic portion of the program. Simulation allows students to develop skills and practice processes described in lectures, so when they are asked to perform these tasks during their externship experience they will understand their role in the system and how to handle the task at hand.

Experiential Rotations

Experiential rotations are real world opportunities for students to work alongside health care professionals and interact with patients to apply their classroom and simulation training. For each rotation the student will report to a site coordinator and review the instructions and expectations for the rotation.
