This role is responsible for overseeing payroll processing and managing employee expense reimbursements. This role ensures the accuracy and confidentiality of employee data, including personal information, salary details, benefit deductions, and final payments. The position plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization.

Oversee employee salary, benefit deductions, and garnishments to ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll processing. Collaborate with HR, employees, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate pay and deductions. Manage and consult with employees regarding expense reimbursement payments. Lead the team in preparing management reports. Support audits and drive process improvements. Lead and manage a team with the aim of driving effective performance management, fostering professional growth, and creating a positive and inclusive work environment. This role is dedicated to utilizing strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and inspire team members, ensuring they are aligned with and committed to achieving the organization’s goals.

The posting range for this position is:
$103,677.00-$149,129.62

Qualifications:

Education

  • Required Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business with an accounting concentration; or equivalent experience
  • Preferred Master's Degree or MBA

Experience

  • Required 5+ Years payroll processing experience
  • Experience leading payroll operations with a focus on process efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement, leveraging systems and data to reduce manual work and support informed decision‑making.
  • Experience managing and developing a team through changing priorities, systems, and processes, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability to ensure consistent delivery.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to securely handle sensitive data.
  • Advanced skills in leading teams and organizing tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, effective in presenting concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced project management skills with a focus on maintaining and improving customer relations.
  • Knowledgeable in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Working knowledge of database and computer-based applications such as Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Certifications & Licenses

  • Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Various
