Job Description Summary

As a member of the Europe Parts Sales Team, you will be an active contributor to the growth of the Parts segment and providing excellent Customer Service in a fast-paced transactional environment. The Parts Sales Manager (PSM) will interface directly with customers for all transactional parts opportunities, proposal development and delivery.

Job Description

  • Partner with Account & Sales Managers to maximize penetration of outages, delivering differentiated support for key accounts, while developing a strategy to regain underserved Customers.
  • Meeting Orders, Sales & CM targets and growing the business in assigned territory.
  • Providing accurate, on time, comprehensive and competitive quotations to our Customers
  • Develop winning bids leveraging competitive intelligence and optimizing price & margins.
  • Drive quarterly sales convertibility, by securing shipment of available inventory 
  • Ensure that any special requirements, terms and conditions and our ability to execute are validated with the Parts fulfillment team during the quoting process, and that any additional cost & cycle are incorporate in the GE quote.
  • Ensure that risk for there is adequate risk mitigation for GE proposals in compliance with Policy 5.0.
  • Drive proactive sales campaigns – recommended parts lists, outage kits,  TIL’s Validate resultant Customer Purchase orders for accuracy & obtain amendments in instances where orders do not match GE quotes, and ensure that the Parts fulfillment has a clear visibility to any special requirements, restrictions, Liquidated damages etc.
  • Provide Customers regular updates on status of open orders. Be the focal point for the Customer to contact for any questions on Parts quotes, open orders and claims and drive resolution by pulling on the Parts fulfillment team as needed.   
  • Lead TX parts segment with Baker Hughes and maintain special requirement from the Distribution Agreement.
  • Establish a strong partnership with Global Fulfillment/Engineering team and Region P&L teams to ensure that Customers get high quality service

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • English Fluent required - Italian Fluent is a plus
  • Relevant experience in Powergen services in a commercial, customer service, shop operations and/or marketing role.
  • Ability to travel within Europe and North Europe
