Solar Turbines is looking for an Intern to support the development and the maintenance of the Gas Turbines Package dedicated to the Power Generation market (power range: 4 to 35 MW). The candidate will collaborate to the design, the technical documentation and the interface definition of the Gas Turbine Package Electrical Systems. The Electrical Systems design requires close collaboration with the auxiliary, mechanical and electrical engineers. The selected candidate will also interface with project engineers, sales support department and project application engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Gas Turbine Electrical Systems according to technical specifications;
• Implement changes into the Standard product;
• Prepare technical documentation related to Electrical Systems functionalities;
• Support Sales Department;
• Support Project Execution Department;

Requirements:

• Student of Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent;
• Good Knowledge of electrical system and electrical schematics;
• Knowledge of Turbomachinery and Gas Turbine process;
• Attention to detail concerning component specifications, certifications, and documentation
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Fluent English – Czech, Italian, German and/or French of benefit;
• Good communication skills and capability to work in a team;
• Analytical skills and problem solving capability;
• Target oriented and strong sense of responsibility.
