What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a passionate and proven Partner Marketing Manager to support our channel partners in the United States and Canada. This person will focus on the planning and execution of marketing programs and events that drive awareness, engagement and pipeline with our partners. Business alignment with regional partner account managers will be a critical component of this role, and the ideal candidate is a strong collaborator who can work with key stakeholders internally and within the partners to drive a holistic marketing plan and achieve business results within the region.

The primary objective of this role is to facilitate planning and engagement with our partners to drive high impact marketing programs and events that generate pipeline and help grow our business. This person will be responsible for MDF planning with partners as well as driving events, campaigns and other partner engagements that help us build new relationships, expand our reach, and acquire new customers.

This position is part of the Americas Regional, Programs and Partner Marketing team and reports into the Manager of Field and Partner Marketing within Global Marketing organization. This position is based in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute joint marketing plans with regional channel partners including events, campaigns and other pipeline generation activities.
  • Work closely with partner account managers, field marketing and other stakeholders to align partner marketing with broader GTM initiatives like launches and solution focus areas.
  • Support communications and enablement for partners by helping amplify messages and drive in-person workshops and partner days.
  • Manage marketing budgets including MDF, and track spend on programs and campaigns. Make recommendations on how to invest and optimize marketing spend and ROI.
  • Help support regional field events by engaging partners and aligning on target accounts, joint customer conversations, meetings and lead follow up.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales team on campaigns and programs that generate pipeline and drive new opportunities with our partners.
  • Provide regular updates to marketing and sales on the status of partner marketing programs, and how we are working with regional partners to expand and grow our business.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years partner marketing experience.
  • Experience in large, global B2B technology, storage, security and/or services companies.
  • Results driven and customer focused team player that understand how to drive successful marketing initiatives with partners.
  • Experience working with channel partners, distributors and technology alliance partners in a marketing capacity.
  • Experience managing MDF and associated processes with partners.
  • Desire to collaborate and build consensus in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • 20% travel expected.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $110K to $120K. The expected on-target earnings for this position is: $123K to $130K

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
