Position Description:
Develops highly scalable distributed applications built on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA). Works with Micro Services, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), REST, and software quality, using test tools -- SoapUI, Selenium, and Cypress. Works on SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Hibernate, or any Java Persistence API (JPA) Mechanism. Improves site reliability by improving code observability, resiliency, and stability. Performs in Jenkins, GIT, and Bitbucket. Works with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Engineers, Designers, and Business Analysts). Designs and schedules batch jobs using Control-M to support operational workflows and data pipelines. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing enterprise-grade Java and Python applications using Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud technologies.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing enterprise-grade Java and Python applications using Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud technologies.
