Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies, ensuring that the software you develop is scalable and performs efficiently. Your work is focused on meeting unique business requirements through innovative approaches and continuous enhancement of software products, contributing to the overall success of projects and organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing software by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary changes.
- Document software designs, processes, and updates to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 7–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure (banking/financial domain preferred).
- Strong knowledge of servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for IT operations (AIOps platforms, ML monitoring, predictive analytics).
- Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory compliance in banking.
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Certifications in cloud, infrastructure, or AI tools (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, AIOps).


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Kubernetes.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
