Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

TCSC Technical Representative will be able to:

  • Answers help desk telephones for assigned account(s) and responds to customer inquiries to ensure customer needs are met
  • Logs and tracks inquiries using a problem management database and maintains history records and related problem documentation
  • Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes customer problems and complaints to ensure that inquiries are resolved appropriately
  • Resolves and/or refers more complex technical problems through a defined escalation process
  • Developing follow-up steps in support of IT systems that support vehicle programming
  • Able to resolve less complex problems immediately, while more complex problems are escalated for resolution

Mandatory requirements

  • Typically, 1+ years of relevant work experience in IT technical support
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • 1+ years computer hardware and software experience
  • Ability to diagnose and repair PC hardware/ networking components
  • Substantial problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Exceptional communications and organizational skills
  • Dedication to excellent attendance
  • Candidate will be able to work first and second shift as well as occasional Saturday hours

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN IT infrastructure
  • Professional work experience or training with a focus on IT or automotive systems
  • CompTIA A+
  • Windows OS
  • MS Office

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

  • Office Environment
  • You are required, as part of the job function to travel up to 90% to the office in 2851 High Meadow, Auburn Hills, MI, 48326
