Role Overview:

We’re searching for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the growing sales team in Singapore. The role is based in Singapore but requires you to cover the Australia/New Zealand territory. This position requires previous experience with prospecting within greenfield accounts (acquiring new logos) and C level personas or senior executive engagement. BDR candidates during the interview should not only be able to demonstrate the ability to comprehend F5 Solutions, but also the ability to pitch this effectively to new customers and navigate between personas. They will also be expected to articulate how they would be creative and thoughtful in their approach to solicit a response from prospects. This position is a hybrid role that requires working from the F5 office in Singapore and working in Australia/NZ time zones.

What you will do:

  • Schedule highly qualified meetings from outbound campaigns within target accounts for territory sales 

  • Leverage prospecting tools such as Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism and outbound prospecting techniques to schedule meetings with identified target accounts 

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to facilitate innovative programs, messaging, campaigns, and offerings 

  • Ensure full details logged in Salesforce and opportunity handoffs to sales are successful and exceed the customer's satisfaction 

  • Ensure reporting and communications are frequent and bi-directional 

  • Exhibit qualities of overachievement, self-motivation, good teamwork, and positive attitude 

  • Meet and exceed minimum activity metrics around customer conversations, emails and phone calls. 

What you will bring:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience 

  • Min 2 years of sales prospecting or Inside Sales experience

  • Familiarity with the Australia/NZ territories and prior experience of selling into these markets 

  • Skill in using Salesforce CRM tool for leads management, capturing BANT qualification 

  • Previous experience with technology companies selling SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Artificial Intelligent or Cybersecurity is a plus 

  • Fluent in English for internal and business communication with stakeholders and customers  

  • A good team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
