Enbridge Gas Ohio (EGO) is hiring a Business Process Analyst who will analyze and make recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications to create more efficient and economical operations for EGO and our delivery business areas. The Analyst will also assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document the major business processes associated with the business unit.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data from various sources including Power Apps, Power BI, databases, SharePoint, and other forms of data entry.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.

  • Present data findings and insights to business leadership in a clear and concise manner.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.

  • Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives.

  • Assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document major business processes associated with the business unit.

  • Conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis of the business unit's processes against both industry and non-industry processes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes within the entire business unit without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety.

  • Develop business cases to support recommendations, and monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes.

  • Apply process modeling tools, process improvement methodology, benchmarking, project management, and change management to projects.

  • Compile information requests for all levels of leadership.

  • Monitor compliance activities and measure productivity while making recommendations for improvements.

  • Work with vendors that support operations.

  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Who you are:

You have:

  • 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree OR 5+ years of related experience with an Associate’s Degree or 7+ years of related experience with a High School diploma/GED.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present findings to business leadership to support decision-making processes.

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Required knowledge in Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and other data analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You are:

  • Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management.

  • Customer service oriented.

You can:

  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making, along with knowledge of when to get others involved.

Preferred Assets:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.

  • Experience in the utility industry.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office work environment with up to 25% domestic travel.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
