Job Description Summary

The Aero New Unit Commercial Pricing Leader is responsible for the New Unit Pricing and Economic Value Modeling activities driving competitive commercial price strategies for proposals through the inquiry to remittance process.

This role will be responsible for New Unit Pricing and Economic Value Modeling analytics on aero new unit transactional opportunities, in partnership with the deal teams. Along with development of the supporting competitive positioning, data, analysis, practices, and tools required to execute these responsibilities.

You'll ensure the standard processes are applied, data is shared, easily understood, and trusted.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute competitive price strategies and economic value modeling on budgetary and firm bids, as well as change orders, for aero new unit transactional opportunities, based on experience and data driven analysis to support recommendations while working with deal team.
  • Build recommended indicative and budgetary pricing in support of sales and product champions for developing opportunities.
  • Collect and validate competitive pricing intelligence by selectively sharing data and perspectives on trends and competitor activities, won/lost/abandoned feedback, and pricing information.
  • Maintain GE Vernova pricing data, perspectives on segment trends and pricing information to support consistent application of processes and data.
  • Contribute towards pricing strategy, policy and tool development required to support function, ensuring delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Tools Development team to upkeep the pricing tools database and associated processes.
  • Partner with the Salesforce development team, product line managers, and engineering to optimize budgetary proposals.
  • Collaborate with product line and poles on product competitiveness analysis, and segment price trends to enable prioritization of programs.
  • Lead and/or participate in  lean events, as required, to support continuous improvement.

Required / Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Finance from an accredited college or university
  • Significant experience in Strategic Marketing, Pricing, Commercial Operations, or Commercial Finance
  • Advanced technical & commercial knowledge of Gas Turbine equipment ( Aero preferred )

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $128,400.00 and $213,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
