As a Senior Business Analyst in Global Investment Control, you will join a team managing department priorities of both large and small scale. Your role involves aiding initiatives that enhance scalability and introduce new functionalities in the investment process, covering areas like portfolio management, order and trade processing, compliance, and related technology improvements. You will also collaborate with various teams including Project Managers, Technology Developers, Portfolio Managers, Traders, Research Analysts, and Legal and Compliance to develop communication strategy and facilitate change management across Global Investment Control.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in asset management, specifically in operations with knowledge of both equity and fixed income instruments, investment vehicles, markets, and the investment process.
  • You have familiarity with differing project management frameworks (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, etc..) and are comfortable navigating between deeply technical concepts, analyzing business processes, supporting solution design, and leading or chairing meetings and presentations.
  • You have demonstrated strong nimble learning abilities, adapted swiftly and with ease to continuously evolving responsibilities and executed with high attention to detail.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills and can break down the value of a new idea, including analyzing data, defining scope, objectives risks, requirements, and solution options.
  • You have experience in leading projects of different sizes and scale, and have a knack for solving problems, designing solutions, and performing business analysis.
  • You are skilled in communicating with and managing stakeholders of varying needs and complexities.  You demonstrate the ability to deliver clear and concise messaging and make compelling business cases in formal and informal settings.
  • You take the time to create and maintain meaningful relationships. You’re a generous collaborator. You’ve fine-tuned your communication style to influence a variety of personalities.
  • You exercise good judgment and can quickly translate business metrics and business challenges into opportunities for improvement, enhancements and are able to effectively influence senior business leaders and providing executive summary communications.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
