The Opportunity:

• As a Jr. Systems Engineer you will interface with the Government Procurement Officer on System Deficiency Reporting
• Coordinate and document software engineering efforts to resolve deficiencies
• Extract and update schedules and data from project management tools
• This position would allow for a hybrid work environment and would require to work on site a minimum of three days per week

Responsibilities:

• Work with hardware engineers to identify solutions and write engineering analysis reports
• Utilize Python and identify trends and problems within the system
• Interface with subject matter experts and site personnel on potential problems and develop solutions

Qualifications:
Required:

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. We will sponsor for a security clearance
• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or similar, or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience
• Must have excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Be a self-starter willing to seek knowledge and broaden their understanding of their areas of responsibility
• Have exceptional time management skills and ability to switch between project tasks effectively

Desired:

• Experience writing DoD engineering reports
• Experience on DoD programs and interaction with government stakeholders -SCN experience is a plus
• Familiar with Python

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$58,000-$115,900
