About the Role

In this role, you will be the Team Lead of the Billing team for Agency Channe and be responsible for leading, supervision, guidance and motivation of the team in-order to meet the Billing turnaround time to support Corporate Solutions’ goals and vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales Head/Section Head to plan out billing activities and prioritization, supporting the division in achieving VONB.

  • Active new business and renewals management by proactively meeting with BDMs, CRMs, brokers and clients to resolve outstanding requirements.

  • Track and monitor new business and renewals to ensure instructions and data are received and processed on time.

  • Lead, support and motivate team members to achieve individual and team targets.

  • Set targets and ensure equitable work distribution amongst team members

  • Monitor and manage team members’ performance and results.

  • Train and develop team members to achieve maximum efficiency

  • Ensure and drive accuracy of the issuance of new business bills, contracts and endorsements and medical cards.

  • Effectively manage and resolve any operational issues and complaints.

  • Manage and monitor OSS team for Quality and Efficiency

  • Advise management on anticipated billing issues & recommend solutions

  • Continual improvement in work processes and review of SOPS.

  • Support on new products and affinity schemes launches including creating application form, policy provisions, product summary and setting new business process.

  • Any other projects assigned

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Degree holder.

  • Minimum 5 years operations experience in insurance industry

  • Fast and Meticulous

  • Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven Leadership skills

  • Experience in driving process improvement and operational excellence.

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Good Negotiation skills
