As an Office Assistant II, you will support clinical and office caregivers to support caring for the community, complying with regulatory requirements and maintaining financial stability of the department.  
 

A caregiver in this position works Monday – Friday from 3:00PM – 11:00PM.  


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Provide general office support such as data entry, answering telephones and visitor reception.  

  • Facilitate the visitor process.  

  • Follow department and hospital policies and procedures.  

  • Manage traffic flow through the department.  

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy files.  

  • Update databases and file records appropriately.  

  • Complete recordkeeping in accordance with JCAHO standards.  

  • Answer telephones and provide general customer service. 


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • High school diploma or GED. 

  • One year of filing and data entry experience in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Knowledge of administrative tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 pounds
