Overview:

Samsung Electronics America and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an experienced full-time Design Trade Manager!

We seek a dynamic Design Trade Manager to champion our Dacor brand within the architecture and design community. This role combines strategic business development with a passion for design, focusing on building influential relationships with architects, designers, and trade partners. The ideal candidate will be a natural connector and compelling storyteller with a strong understanding of design integration and luxury home products. Job Description:

  • Business Development Acumen – Proven ability to develop opportunities and grow business within the architecture and design community.

  • Brand Storytelling – Strong presentation and communication skills; able to convey the Dacor brand and product value proposition in a compelling, authentic way.

  • Relationship-Building – Natural connector with a high EQ; able to build trust and maintain long-term relationships across diverse stakeholders.

  • Product & Specification Expertise – Technical fluency with appliance product details, design integration, and installation requirements; able to support designers from ideation to implementation.

  • Design Sensibility – Appreciation for interior design and architecture; understanding of how Dacor fits into modern luxury kitchens. Credentials such as AKBD, CKD, or LEED AP are a plus.

Core Responsibilities:

Trade Engagement & Business Development

  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities for Dacor within the A&D community and the broader kitchen and bath industry

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of engaged designers, architects, and specifiers

  • Initiate, develop, and attend networking events with architecture and design organizations, as well as industry partners

  • Leverage events, showroom visits, and industry associations to drive awareness and advocacy

  • Partner with the sales and showroom teams to support lead conversion and project tracking

Brand Advocacy & Trade Support

  • Represent the Dacor brand with authenticity and confidence at every interaction

  • Deliver impactful presentations, tailored product training, and CEUs that resonate with design professionals

  • Provide ongoing support and tools that enable specifiers to recommend Dacor appliances confidently

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with showroom teams to develop and execute events, engage key clients, and elevate the in-person experience

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of messaging and tools, ensuring you and your prospects have the assets needed to recommend and specify Dacor products

  • Gather market feedback and share insights to inform marketing and product strategies

  • Contribute to broader trade marketing initiatives and support strategic partnerships

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the appliance, luxury home, or design industry

  • Strong network and reputation within the architecture and design community

  • Experience supporting or selling through specifier channels

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field preferred

  • Industry credentials or active membership in organizations such as NKBA, ASID, AIA, etc. are highly valued
