As a developer within Supply Chain space, you will be working with Supply Chain eco-system which includes world class planning platforms like Rapid response, Blue Yonder and SAP along with multiple in-house developed systems. This would expect the developer to understand the Micron domain business processes, data models, data resources and technical authoring along with core business skills like demand planning, supply planning and order promising concepts.

Today, supply chain solutions are being orchestrated by most advanced tools like Rapid Response & Blue Yonder, which are prominent in the Gartner magic quadrant, placing them on top of the table. Micron is one of the semi-conductor industries using both advanced planning solution tools to enhance their growth prospects.

As a developer on Rapid Response tool, you will be working on the authoring the resources in the tool which would be used in solving Supply chain business problems. You will be authoring the resources like workbooks, dashboards, automation tasks, forms and scripts to enhance the usability and readability for the business users. You will be well versed with the integration of the Rapid Response tool with other Supply Chain systems and will be supporting the integration by working on other technologies like C# .Net and Java.

Roles & responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations on achieving high quality and on-time delivery.
  • Should have a fast-learning curve to adept new technologies.
  • Collaborate with business partners and other IT teams to ensure high quality data solutions are delivered.
  • Author (Develop) resources like workbooks, automation tasks and dashboards.
  • Prepare the test case document and capturing the test results after unit testing.
  • Follow Agile methodology and practices.
  • Solve operational issues and resolve business partner issues in a timely manner with collaboration and care for business priorities.
  • Document existing and new work performed.
  • Understand the impediments for development and develop automation solutions for the development team.
  • Troubleshooting / resolving issues collaboratively and assist team in finding solutions. 

Education Requirement & eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT field is required.
  • Some experience or knowledge of ERP Tools under Enterprise Applications.
  • Software Engineering background and experience a plus.
  • Having some academic projects on Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Java, DBMS concepts and SQL
  • Understanding of C# .Net, C++ programming is a value add.
  • Some experience in Software engineering, programming languages, scripting.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding or exposure to data models and reporting packages.
  • Familiarity or good exposure to Agile or DevOps concepts.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • CGPA requirements = 8.0 CGPA & Above

Demonstrated ability to:

  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal direction.
  • To adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Work in multi-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective.
  • Communicate very well with distributed teams (written, verbal and presentation)
