OVERVIEW

The Director of Global Logistics Programs & Solutions is accountable for the performance management, and analytical optimization of global logistics across the Alo network. This role owns monthly logistics KPIs, measuring transit times, duty impact, cost-per-unit / cost per package by category and service mode (Ocean, Air, Truck, Small Parcel). ln addition, this role will lead Carrier RFP Processes, freight volume forecasting and rate quote analysis using robust analytics and systems-enabled insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Lead a team of 2-5 Managers and Analysts focused on execution, analytics, provider management, and compliance support.
  • Own and govern monthly logistics and landed-cost KPIs, including lead times, on-time delivery, cost per unit, duty cost per unit, capacity utilization, and service variability.
  • Track savings, cost avoidance, and margin impact, ensuring results are measurable and auditable.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously refine analytical models forecasting models and dashboards to track performance by category, origin, lane, provider, and channel.
  • Partner with Logistics Teams to conduct monthly / quarterly business reviews using data-driven narratives that translate performance gaps into clear actions.
  • Partner with Trade Compliance and finance teams to model tariff changes, regulatory risk, and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain cost models to support sourcing decisions, RFP evaluations, and network changes.
  • Partner with IT data teams to improve data quality, automation, system integrations.
  • Support peak season, promotions, and new market launches with analytics-driven execution plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain execution within retail apparel or fashion.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; (Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics).
  • Experience with Logistics analytics platforms, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI,) and advanced Excel or SQL-based analysis.
  • Demonstrated ownership of logistics KPIs, landed-cost analytics, and lead-time optimization.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including experience building models, dashboards, and performance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Ocean, Air, FTL, Parcel Rates, tariffs, duties, customs processes, and their financial impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to translate complex data into clear operational and financial decisions.

The base salary range for this position is $185,000-$200,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
