What you'll do...

Job Description

This hourly position is support for the AI operations in the department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.


Essential Functions

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Capture and Document Attributes. Possesses Knowledge of: Data attributes. Data-related risks. Automated tools. Established data standards and practices. To carry out the following responsibilities: Escalates issues related to the documentation of information. Identifies information capture needs in assigned area. Explains department methods for documenting, identifying, and recording attribute information (data objects e.g. sales receipt, cell phone, debit card, etc.). Provides examples of the risks associated with failures to record relevant information.
  • General Computer Acumen. Possesses Knowledge of: General PC hardware, operating systems and team/department applications . Key input, output, and processing components. To carry out the following responsibilities: Turns computers on and off and executes system startup and shutdown procedures. Locates available help, tutorial manuals, and facilities. Identifies key input, output, and processing components of personal computer systems. Explains concepts of operating systems, application software, storage, and networking.
  • Knowledge of a Specific Technology. Possesses Knowledge of: Department systems and tools. Troubleshooting of common application issues (e.g. needing to restart computer, system or application). To carry out the following responsibilities: Cites examples of how customers use a specific product (e.g. customer scanning items at the register) and the product's role in the client's business. Compiles a list of major components and materials for specific hardware products. Describes the major functions, features, and capabilities of the product.
  • Active Learning. Possesses Knowledge of: New processes and system upgrades. To carry out the following responsibilities: Identifies different tools, techniques, and ways of learning. Knows how to access and use available learning and development resources. Describes the rationales, concepts, and needs for continual learning.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail. Possesses Knowledge of: The processing of detailed information with accuracy. Team processes and procedures. To carry out the following responsibilities: Identifies tasks (capturing and labeling object attributes) or outputs that require accuracy and detailed attention . Describes the consequences of errors within assigned unit or function. Identifies the procedures for ensuring that results are mistake-free. Explains the importance of accuracy in assigned function or unit.
  • Technical Writing & Documentation. Possesses Knowledge of: Technical documentation. Technology tools. Technology verbiage. Technology systems and practices. To carry out the following responsibilities: Describes basic technical writing standards and procedures. Explains the basic concepts behind effective technical documentation. Highlights the characteristics of technical documentation. Identifies available delivery alternatives (for example, paper, online) in the local environment.
  • Machine Learning Possesses Knowledge of: Principles and technology for machine learning. Computing languages. Objectives of machine learning. To carry out the following responsibilities: Distinguishes between machine learning and deep learning. Describes the algorithms and logic of machine learning. Gives examples on the implementation of machine learning. Explains the definition and objectives of machine learning.
  • Analytical Approach Possesses Knowledge of: Data patterns. Data interpretation. Information sources. To carry out the following responsibilities: Applies the concept of the business process to understand end-to-end team responsibilities. Seeks help to interpret complex or conflicting data. Identifies patterns in information. Identifies logical and illogical arguments.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
