What You Will Be Doing

As a Footwear Design Intern, you will support the creation and execution of colorway designs across multiple footwear projects. Working closely with the Footwear Team, you will contribute to concept development, sample creation, and commercialization efforts. This role offers hands-on exposure to the footwear design process, cross-functional collaboration, and presentation of creative concepts. Responsibilities for this role include:

• Assisting in developing colorway designs for footwear projects, including outsoles, uppers, insoles, lacing systems, ornaments, and logos

• Supporting graphical work and color exploration for existing product initiatives

• Presenting multiple rounds of color concepts to Product Development, Product Management, and Design teams

• Incorporating cross-functional feedback into refined concepts and support the creation of color CADs

• Researching trends and assist in building mood boards and color themes to inform design direction

• Creating exploratory sketches aligned to proposed themes and seasonal direction

• Contributing creative ideas to elevate presentation formats and storytelling

• Supporting administrative tasks as needed to assist the design team

• Gaining hands-on experience developing CAD pages for prototype requests

What You Will Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design or a related field.

• Proficiency in Adobe Design applications (Illustrator and Photoshop).

• Demonstrated interest or coursework in footwear design, including experience with design, research, concept creation, and rendering.

• Demonstrates good aptitudes in sketching.

• Awareness of material trends and a passion for footwear design.

• Self-motivated and ability to manage a project in a semi-autonomous way

• Familiarity with CAD or 3D software is a plus.

• Onsite in Fairhaven, MA

• June- August 2026

Compensation: $22-$24/hr
